From the Senior Regent, September 2022

To my Brothers and Sisters,

Time to get involved!

Fall is going to be a busy time for the Pacifica Women of the Moose. In September the
Mid-Year Conference will be in Sparks, Nevada September 15-18. September 27th is the enrollment dinner for new members of One Moose and the chapter. Volunteers are always welcome to help serve and clean-up.

October 1 is Rally Day in Yuba City. I will be representing our chapter, but everyone is invited to attend. WOTM members in California and Nevada will meet together for a day of workshops, training, brainstorming and having fun. Members must register to attend.

October 18th is the special “Christmas in October” meeting. Besides having special holidays snacks and fun at this “girls’ night out” meeting there is a monetary walk where donations are collected for special holiday events at MooseHeart and MooseHaven. I hope to see you all at this special event.

Volunteers are needed to run the carnival games at the October 23rd children’s Halloween Party. From 11 am to noon children can play games and win candy and prizes. After a costume contest and parade lunch will be served. The event ends at 1 PM. We need volunteers to help! Children 12 years and under may attend by signing up in the binder at the bar.

“Christmas In October” is also the theme of the October 29th craft sale. From 9 AM to 3 PM you will be able to buy handcrafted items including homemade toffee, holiday wreaths, ocean themed art and much more. A snack bar will also be open and there will be a raffle to win some of the handcrafted items.

Tell us, we forget.
Show us, we remember.
Involve us, we understand.

How will you be involved? Rally Day? Attend the September 20th or October 18th chapter meeting? Help at the kids’ Halloween party? We need you.

In Faith, Hope and Charity
