Letter from the Governor, March 2019

As I sit and ponder on the year and this being my last newsletter, I would like to thank everyone at this lodge for your support throughout this year during my time as your Governor. A special thank you and a show of appreciation to the Women of the Moose for all their support to me and my board of Officers. I thank my Board of Offices for their support and us having a great year here at the lodge.

Please keep in mind we can always use more volunteers in the upcoming events that we will be having. We need help in the kitchen, setting up, cleaning up, etc. We also need more kids (13-18) to help serve on Thursday and Friday nights. Please contact Cynthia Ussery.

We have brought in new beer from Pedro Point Brewery. We hope that you have been enjoying it. If you would like to try another one of their beers, just let the bartender or myself know. We will see if we can get it!

REMINDER: Please make sure to use the sign-up book for dinner and upcoming events. This really helps us with headcount for food. Please also make sure to put down the correct amount of people so we don’t waste food or turn people away that wanted to sign up. There are certain dinners (prime rib night and big events) were we put a limit on how many people can sign up. If you sign up 10 and only 3 people show up, this is not fair to those that wanted to sign up. So please make sure people are committed and if they are not going to show up please let us know as soon as possible.

This year continues to be fun and filled with great learning experiences for both myself and the lodge. Please continue to give us your feedback and suggestions. I wish the new Board of Officers a successful and fun year.

If you are interested in being a part of the Board of Officers let us know. It is a great experience for a great cause.

Have a great day,
Fraternally Yours
Bando Bonilla
Governor 2018-2019
