Notes from the Lodge Administrator, March 2022

Hello Brothers and Co Workers,

With winter coming to a close, the Moose Lodge is the place to be!

We are filling the calendar with lots of activities. Like the upcoming District Social Saturday March 5th at our Lodge, Line Dancing on Wednesdays, St. Patrick’s Day dinner on Friday night March 18th and the kid’s Easter party and much more! There’s something for everyone. Please don’t forget our General Membership meetings every second and fourth Tuesday at 7pm. We need your input!

The Queen of Hearts Raffle has exploded and has brought in many new and old members and the Lodge is packed on Thursdays and Fridays, to the likes we haven’t seen in many years. Some lucky winner is going to win that pot real soon and we will start up another crazy game and keep it rolling. What’s more amazing is the amount of money we will be donating back to the community. Not that long ago we were asking for donations from the membership to complete some repairs around the lodge. Now it’s completely flipped and were are flying high. Because of your participation and generosity we may have our best year ever and reclaim our name as the “The Heart of the Community”.

We are currently looking for help around the Lodge as usual. We especially need cooks and bartenders. Please see me if you’re available for a shift. We will get you trained and get you on the calendar asap.

Also Lodge officers are needed for both the women’s WOTM board and the Lodge boards as well as appointed chairmen. The new boards will take over May 1st and need your help. Please help out if you can. Some of us have been doing this for many years and need relief.

Speaking of relief. I want to make it public that I will be stepping aside as Administrator at the end of April and as soon as we can get an appropriate replacement up to speed Debbie and I will be beginning our retirement plans. So, If there’s someone out there that would like to help run the office, please see me or any Lodge officer for more info of what needed.

Hope to see you at the Lodge soon.

Fraternally Yours,
Rich Russitano
Administrator
