Hello Brother Legionnaires and General Members,
Happy New Year to all our Moose Legionnaires, 2025 looks to be an exciting year for the Moose Legion. Our Moose Legion committee is actively looking to host events at our lodge, along with Line dancing and Pancake breakfast we are planning other events. Moose Olympics, another fishing trip or a trip to a casino. So many opportunities for our members to take on a leadership role at the lodge. Step up and volunteer to chair an event that you would like to see the lodge put on.
Exciting news: this year at our Mid-year conference March 21–23, 2025 Moose Legion will be hosting an information table. If you are attending the mid-year we could use your help, Table will be open Friday 8am – 4pm and Saturday 8am – 2pm. Two-hour shifts are available. Meet members from all 17 jurisdictions.
Membership is always a top priority. Golden Spot 15 has created a couple of membership campaigns for the year. Sponsor two new members by April 30, 2025 and receive one year’s dues paid. This campaign will be every quarter until April 30th, 2025. The other campaign, if you sign up five new members between May 1st, 2024, through April 30th, 2025, your name will be entered for a life membership. We have some exciting events planned for the coming months. At our last meeting, we talked about some great ideas. Check the newsletter to find out what’s coming up at the lodge.

Golden Spot 15 Moose Legionnaire special endowment Donation. Again, we are asking our members to donate and give to the Honor roll, $20.00 Moose Legion Level, $50.00 Fellows Level, and $100.00 Pilgrim Level. Get on the Honor Roll. Golden Spot 15th was second in giving. Pacifica was a huge part of making this happen.
If you’re thinking of becoming a Moose legionnaire this is the time to take the next step in fraternalism. To join the Moose Legion all you must do now is fill out an application with dues of $20.00 and attend a Moose Legion Conferral. I would be happy to sponsor you on your next step in fraternalism.
Line dancing is on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. Check the calendar for the Moose Car Nascar watch parties. Our monthly Moose Legion pancake breakfast, every 3rd Sunday from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon, is still the best deal in town. A Moose Legion meeting will follow the pancake breakfast and poker game on Sunday afternoons.
