Hello all,
It’s already March. Hopefully you all made it through the storms earlier last month with only extra water in your gardens. First I just want to say thank you to our Members for your huge support during our New Years Eve Party. Good food, good friends and a great band, fun was had by all who attended.
Valentine’s Day, dinner/dance was another one for the books. It’s nice when an event falls on a Prime rib night, it makes it easier for our volunteers to pull off an event with a crew who knows how it runs. And what do you think about the new band we had? Dan Gracia and Friends made it fun all night and they new how to read the crowd.
Next is our St. Patrick’s Day dinner. March 15th, sign up sheets are behind the bar. We will be having two authentic Irish Dancers, Gina and Liam. They have danced for us many times before, and it just keeps getting better. Please help us make this evening one to remember, and fill your bellies with our famous Corned Beef and Cabbage.
Moving onto April’s events, we will be hosting our annual Moose Legion Awards Dinner on Saturday April 12th, followed by our Legion Conferral Sunday April 13th. Please join us for these important events. No time to rest, join us with your family for our Easter Brunch Buffet, Sunday April 20th, check the flyers in this newsletter for more information on all upcoming events. We need your support.
You probably know by now, the Queen of hearts is back, starting the first Thursday in March. She has been missed. Remember we have a new Dart board, pool table, dice games, horse race game and shut the box for you to enjoy while your in the social quarters. Please enjoy your lodge, if you’re having fun, why not tell your friends and family to come join with us and help support your community.
One last thing. If your not sure how you can help around the Lodge, come to one of our General meetings held twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7pm. This is where the members can bring up new ideas so we can become an even better Lodge. If you just want the Lodge for dinner, drinks and to be with friends, that fine too, just please help by clearing your drinks from the tables and please watch over your kids, you are responsible for them while still having fun with us. Together we can grow.
