Hello all,
Time is sure flying by, kids are back in school, Football season is starting up and you can feel the energy through our members with all the activities going on around the Moose.
The WOTM put on a a very successful flea market a couple of weeks ago, thank you, to all involved. The Lodge had a lot of fun with our Golf tournament, Thank You to all who helped with this event, especially our cart girls Michelle and Audrey. Where else can you hit a golf ball off a golden toilet at one hole and have jello shots and beers delivered with Mr. softy music playing , a fun day for all.
Our next event will be our Women of the Moose 6th annual Car show Sept. 7th out in our parking lot, please come join us, we will have food to purchase in the lot.
Thank you to all the members who helped contribute to the funding of our new Char Broiler in the kitchen, no more un even cooking surfaces and burning hair off our arms while cooking, we still need a little more support to cover the cost so thank you again.
We are signing good quality members with great positive energy, this is what it takes to keep our Lodge a great place to bring your Family and friends to have a good time. I would also like to Thank all who make the Lodge run properly, from the cooks, the clean up crews the volunteers taking your orders and serving you your drinks, we couldn’t do this without your help. And of course our Board of officers who deal with all types of Logistics throughout the year. So let’s keep doing what we can to help each other, when your finished with dinner please bring up your drink glasses to the bar and pick up around your table if needed, you do this at home, so let’s do this at your Moose home.
A reminder if you want to signup for an event or prime rib night the signup sheets should be on the table near the coffee pots. You can sign up for any event as early as you want, Kids Halloween, kids Christmas with Santa, will be here soon. Don’t forget News Year Eve party with Super Bad as our Band, we will be cutting this event off when full, details will be on the signup sheet. Free drink time, the first 5 members who can tell me in person (one per group be fair) who can tell me, I’m going to renew my dues on time and remind my friends to do the same will get a free drink chip. We didn’t make our plus one this year, which cost us our Premier Lodge award, so lets work together to get back on track for next year.
